Emergency Service in foggy conditions and during high tide

In accordance with the Venice Port Authority ordinance No. 175/09 on low-visibility navigation, the ACTV operations center will decide when to apply the following changes to water services and when, afterwards, to restore normal services.

Waterborne services in foggy conditions:

With visibility of more than 150 meters
Normal services.

With visibility of less than 150 m but longer than 70 meters, the following changes apply:

• Service No. 2
Split into two routes:
1) S. Zaccaria – Tronchetto (via Canale della Giudecca);
2) P.le Roma - Rialto - S. Marco.

• Services 4.1 and 4.2
Limited to the route of P.le Roma - F.te Nove - Giro Murano - F.te Nove – Bacini with extraordinary stops at Riva de Biasio and Tre Archi.

• Services 5.1 and 5.2
Don't cross the Giudecca Canal nor Fondamente Nuove, re-routed along the Grand Canal with stop at Accademia, Riva De Biasio, Ferrovia ( Railway Stn.) and Piazzale Roma ( Bus Stn.).

• Service No. 3
Limited to the route of P.le Roma - Murano Colonna.

• Services 1, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 14L, 15,16, 17,19,20, 22 ,"N"and Alilaguna: normal.

N.B.: Services 1, 5.1 and 5.2 allow the possibility of interchanging with the shuttle-boat service between S.Elena and Lido S.M.E.

• Services 6,7,8,10,18 and 21: suspended.

• Extra services:
Actv’s operations center will work to ensure the following additional services:
1. S. Elena - Lido S.M.E. shuttle;
2. S. Marta - P.le Roma shuttle.

With visibility of less than 70 m

• Service No. 2
Split into two routes:
1) S. Zaccaria - Sacca Fisola (via Canale della Giudecca);
2) P.le Roma - Rialto - S. Marco.

• Services 4.1 and 4.2
Limited to the route of F.te Nove - Murano.

• Services 5.1 and 5.2
Limited to the route of P.le Roma - S. Marco Vallaresso (via the Grand Canal with stop at Ferrovia - Railway Stn., Riva De Biasio, Accademia).

• Service 13
Services from Treporti as normal.
Services from F.te Nove limited to S. Erasmo Chiesa.

• Services 1*, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14,14L, 15,16, 17,19,20, 22 , "N"and Alilaguna: normal.

* With visibility less than 50 m, Service No. 1 will be limited to S. Marco Vallaresso.

• Services 3, 6, 7, 8, 10,18 and 21: suspended.

• Extra services:
The Actv operations center will ensure the following additional services:
1. S. Elena - Lido S.M.E. shuttle service;
2. S. Marta - P.le Roma shuttle service.
